The About Us section is usually a short and sweet biography of the owners of the business accompanied by a sweet photo. Often there are well thought out quotes, work histories, interesting anecdotes and the like. Goody Goodie is more than a few paragraphs about Mary & Remi.
What we will tell you is that our company is a small group of some of the best people you could ever meet. Remi and Mary are the founders of Goody Goodie cream and sugar, but the house of Goody was built with the help of a lot of people along the way.
The husbands. Our husbands, Mark and Ward, are our core. They are taste testers, editors, artists, advisors, financiers and they also have the guts to tell us what no one else would dare say to us. Their heads are still intact, thank God, but sometimes they get a bit bruised in battle. We owe them our gratitude first and foremost.
<-------Norma.
Norma walked into Remi’s cafe 7 years ago with no experience, but wanted to learn how to cook professionally.
Today she is the backbone of Goody Goodie cream & sugar. You will often see Norma in the kitchen, Monday through Friday (sometimes Saturday too), baking off the morning pastries and infusing the kitchen with wonderful aromas.
Ana is Norma’s younger sister. Ana heads up our cookie wholesale division and does so with military precision. She maintains an accurate baking schedule, and we count on her to make sure our wholesale orders and customer deliveries get out on time. But, don’t get in her way - or you will get “the look” (btw, the “look” scares the crap out of Mary.)

Have you met Andrea? Our barista with the pretty blue eyes? She’s like a character out of a Woody Allen film or, for the younger crowd, The Virgin Suicides. Her hero is Thomas Magnum, and one day she hopes to open her own private investigation firm. Andrea is our head barista, and makes some killer coffee!

She’s the baby of our Goody family. She’s smart as a whip and she’s got a heart of gold. She’s friendly, talented, and hard working and we are certain she’ll make her mark in this world - just wait and see!
<----------Yovanni.
This is the man that delivers to all our accounts in the city early in the morning. You may see him driving his white van all over town, with our precious goodies in back.

Remi and Mary. The question we are asked the most is “are you sisters?” :-)
We don’t always think alike, often argue, but in the end, we can’t imagine spending this much time together if it wasn’t fun, challenging, and incredibly awesome in every way. We inspire each other, work hard, and we could not have accomplished all that we have without each other.
We only use the best to produce the best. We’ve chosen the best people and the best ingredients to make the best possible product. Everyone and everything is selected by Remi and Mary for a reason.
We stand behind our products and our staff, because we are proud of both. We work hard every single day. We do it for you, we do it for the people who work with us, and we do it for ourselves - because we can’t imagine doing anything else.
